We connected with Stacey Conway to learn more about Lucille's at 25055 Blue Ravine Rd., Ste. 100 in Folsom.
What is Lucille's, how would you describe it to a friend?
Lucille's is an independent coffee shop that serves quality high end coffee from Verve Coffee Roasters, as well as small plates, breakfast items, pastries, sandwiches, and salads.
We will also offer beer and wine to attract the afternoon/early evening house. We will call that "Social Hour".
Why did you start the business? What do you hope to accomplish?
I feel that our neighborhood was in need of such a place. Midtown, the Bay, and other places have so many cool places and I feel that Folsom is lacking.
What's something you wish people knew about your business?
That we are a neighborhood place and we will cater to our area and their needs.
Everything we offer will be of the highest quality and we will support local bakeries, farmers, craft breweries, and wineries.
Why did you choose Verve as your coffee company?
The answer is simply that they are the best. I also love the way they conduct their business, direct relationships with the actual coffee growers, their dedication to fair trade.
What's the biggest compliment you've received?
I guess I would say the decor so far, it’s pretty awesome! People's faces literally light up when they peek inside!
Are you involved with or do you support any local nonprofits, community organizations or causes?
I am a huge animal rescue supporter, so I am hoping to find one that we will donate a % of our profits to.
Why did you choose to be in the The Parkway Center?
My husband and I already own the Folsom Tap House in the same center and many of our regular customers suggested I do something to add to the center.
Are you a member of the chamber or any other networking organizations?
Yes, we are a member of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.
Do you have any upcoming events, specials or new products/services that people should know about?
We are now open! Stay tuned for our Grand Opening event that is to be announced soon.
We are hoping that Econome Family Park will enjoy both Tap House and Lucille's!
